As I mentioned in my previous blog on the CCNP Automation Core (AutoCor) basic test, I wanted to provide an insightful view of the test topics for a new professional automation composition. I consider My Lyself to be dedicated because I was part of a team of product managers, psychometrians, program managers and subject experts who help discuss (and sometimes argue) what should be included in certification.
This culminated in many hours locked in the room to have lists of exam topics that are now for checking. To say it’s a lot of exhausting work is underline. The whole focus of the team, however, is to carry out the final exam, which you, the student, will find that you are sufficiently valuable in your professional career.
However, I know that sometimes there are questions, why things were built or commissioned in a certain way, and his (e) -a problem (not “a problem, let it?) To take some time from my day to answer my questions about thematic automation exams.
ENAUTO 1.1 Removed topics
From design patterns to solution function
The first big departure is from the previous domain Enauto 1.1. This domain focused on software development procedures. While topics, such as GIT and functionality, are important, most domains have dealt with the right coding and development procedures, the interpretations of python scripts and the advantage of automation tools (virtual spines, infrastructure as code and the like). We wanted to develop Enuuto to focus more on the level of functionality and general practitioner. We took these concepts and either completely removed them (we need to know the benefits of infrastructure as a code, or should we be able to use IAC tools in an automation solution?) Or incorporate them into a greater automation task. Understanding these topics is still valuable. However, the network automation engineer in today’s world does not have to sell the benefits of API; Instead, you ask how to deliver the greatest value to the organization by using existing tools, minimizing disruption and avoiding unnecessary tool stretching.
Equipment and platforms focus on the center
Like the Autocor test, the introductory paragraph for test topics specifically provokes certain platforms and operating system. However, you can notify the department between devices and platforms with exam domains – intentional change. Each business has individual needs. For some, the management of all devices makes sense through a controller or platform; Others may prefer automation of users and orchestration of the device around the device. However, controllers and platforms are also important because they provide easy automation and the only visibility of the “pane” across large, geographically separated companies. These platforms are also developed with the API at their core, allowing you to improve the functionality, configuration and observability through program methods, automation developers!
Although there is some overlap, the intention is to ensure that the capabilities provided by the platforms such as other Templing or creating Jinja2 automation routines, using the API provided by the platform (eg, knocking the device’s routine using the API interface rather than to create automation and use it as part of the board). Speaking of pre- and after the change, have you heard about Cisco’s laboratories? If you have, it is a network simulation platform that operates Functions Cisco Virtual Network Functions (VNF), such as virtual routers, switches, firewalls and wireless drivers.
These VNFs can be interconnected in a virtual canvas that allow the network to be used, its configuration and behavior for these changes. It provides a simulation of full control plane if the routes change, the VLAN is added, or the ACL rules are removed. Network engineers use it to study for various exams from a collaborator to an expert due to the capabilities on the platform.
Fusion was natural: network managers do not believe automation to do what he said; Metwork Automation Engineers want to study and protris Automation Solutions World. Cisco modeling laboratories will be filled in which they need preliminary testing that becomes standard after change for all configurations. Network automation engineers should be fluent in Cisco modeling laboratories and the idea of digital twins as testing for their automation before execution to production. We all like the “CV generating events”, right?
We have to ai business
I know, I know. AI is everywhere and you or you do not have to face burnout AA. However, as someone who has always seen practicality especially when learning something new, you can easily relax that it was a test topics for reasons to make sure we “checked the AI box”.
- This domain is concentrated on the surroundings that are able to identify and discuss different arils of AI without a business; In this fast -moving space, we should all feel comfortable.

This task is deliberately a writer in the same verbiage as from the topics of the autocor exam. As an automation expert, we assume that the responsibility will transfer tools and abilities to something that can be used by automation routines. Being able to design, the development and extent of configuration for this MCP Advolita will be a very critical skill, which is that it appears in both AutoCor and Enauto (and I bet you can guess what task they have as a task).
Through this main rise on the exam, we hope that the skills that are required reflect the common problem that today’s business automation engineers are required to solve themselves.
